INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: TABLES WITH LAMINATED MELAMINE TABLE TOP
Thank you for choosing the Privee Home table with a Laminated Melamine table top. To ensure that your table lasts a long time and maintains its aesthetic appearance, please follow the care and use recommendations below.

  1. FEATURES OF LAMINATED MELAMINE STEEL
Moisture resistance – the surface is impervious to water, but prolonged exposure to moisture around the edges should be avoided. Stain resistant – easy to clean as it does not absorb dirt. Heat resistance – can withstand up to 120-150°C for short periods of time, but direct application of hot utensils may damage the surface. Scratch resistance – the hard surface is scratch resistant, but it is not recommended to cut directly on the worktop. Shock sensitivity – a strong impact may damage the surface or chip the melamine coating.
  2. HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR WORKTOP CORRECTLY?
Use coasters under hot dishes to protect the worktop from heat. Clean with a soft, damp cloth – avoid abrasive sponges and strong chemical cleaners (especially with ammonia). Do not soak with water – although the surface is resistant to moisture, too much water can damage seams or edges. Do not use sharp objects directly on the surface – always use cutting boards. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun – UV rays can cause discolouration or fading.
  3. HOW TO PROTECT YOUR TABLE FROM HEAT?
Short-term heat (120-150°C) – can be tolerated for short periods. Long-term heat (70-80°C) – can deform the surface if the table is touched for a long time. Do not place hot pans or pots directly on the table – use heat resistant trays. Hot coffee without a coaster – may leave coloured circles or damage the surface over time. Wipe up spillages of hot liquids quickly to avoid damaging the edges of the worktop.
  4. WHAT SHOULD BE AVOIDED?
Contact with nail polish, strong alcoholic beverages, organic solvents. Strong impacts and heavy objects falling on the worktop. Cleaning agents containing ammonia or other aggressive chemicals.
  5. RECOMMENDED CLEANING PRODUCTS
Soft, slightly damp microfibre cloth. Neutral pH cleaners. Light soapy water if the surface is particularly dirty.
By following these instructions, you will ensure that your Privee Home table remains durable and aesthetically pleasing for many years!
